Discover Your Growth Patterns From the Gift of the Bamboo Tree

One of my team members emailed me with a question that sent me on a walking trip in French Town, New Jersey. This is my favorite spot during warm weather, a paved trail along the Delaware. I find, walking communicating with my Higher Source helps clear my thoughts. Her question was " why does success take so long"? Hummmm as I walked the answer became so clear. It’s just so amazing when you align yourself with the Universe, the answer is right in front of you.

Sure enough, as I walked the answer appeared, many Bamboo Trees along the path. Yes what a great example to illustrate the qualities of perseverance, patience, and potential. When I got back home, I called my team member and said I have a story to tell you, do you have two minutes? Candace, you remind me of the farmer who planted seeds to grow bamboo tree. Like you Candace, he did every thing right with out seeing results as quickly as he thought he should. What the farmer never realized was that even though he watered and fertilized the seeds it would take 5 years before he saw success.

The first year was a tiny sprout, then year 2, 3, and 4 still no more growth, or so it appeared. The bamboo tree was preparing for large growth by growing miles of intricate root system creating a foundation. In the 5th year, wow, 3 feet in a single day, 60-90 days as much as 80 feet tall. Candace, like the bamboo tree you are growing daily by doing personal development. Personal development is an inside job that only you can nurture in every way, emotionally, and spiritually. Candace, be patient, persistent and you will see that the out come is full of potential both for the present and future.

Being patient and persistent never giving up, you are watering your bamboo tree every day. Remember this thought, that quitting is not an option! Continue to spend time wisely building character, over coming adversity and challenges, reading, setting goals, tweaking constantly. Candace, by staying focused applying what you know, you will explode in every area of your life.
